BUY/SELL TRADE PROGRAMS

Buy/Sell Trade Programs are also known as Private Placement Programs (PPP). These programs involve funding trading activity in pre-market bonds, MTNs, and SBLCs. These trades can only be executed by qualified traders who are licensed to carry out these transactions. Tier 1 regulated banks host these trade desks in the UK, Europe, and Singapore. 

An investor can participate in these programs through cleared and unencumbered funds (tax paid, no charges, no limitations) held in a Tier 1 bank account, Bank Guarantees, Standby Letters of Credit, or above the ground assets such as Safe Keeping Receipts (SKRs) for gold. For participation in these programs, we can also assist with the monetization of in-ground assets such as gold deposits supported by a NI 43-101 technical report. For the protection of the funds placed, the investor can consider a variety of options with their bank, such as Blocked funds accounts, Sole signatory accounts, Non-depletion accounts, and Escrow arrangements. The typical length of a trade program is 40 weeks, which can be extended to 65 weeks. It may also be renewed for a period upto five years by mutual agreement. The investor also has an option to exit the program before the agreed tenure by mutual agreement with the trade desk. 

The payouts earned from these programs can be received on a weekly, fortnighly or a monthly basis at the investor’s discretion. The investors can also implement safeguards such as blocking of funds using SWIFT MT 760, Sole Signatory accounts, Escrow accounts, Administrative hold, and Non Depletion accounts. 

A special aspect of these programs is that a significant portion of the returns need to be allocated to humanitarian causes and to finance mega business projects. Thus, the payouts generated by the investors on these programs are used to finance commercially viable and socially responsible opportunities in various industry sectors that generate employment opportunities and create economic growth.
